In this case, it should be taken into account that silicone adhesive with an acidic type of curing releases a small amount of acetate acid during curing, which in turn causes the destruction and corrosion of non-ferrous metals, marble, and other natural materials. Neutral curing sealant can be used for bonding or sealing substrates made of any materials, both natural and synthetic, since it does not release aggressive compounds into the external environment. During the curing process, a neutral substance is released: methyl ethyl ketoxime.
