Indoor roses: the origin of the species and general characteristics
Almost all dwarf types of indoor roses were brought back in the 19th century from China. They are low-growing evergreens with long and abundant flowering. More than 2000 varieties and hybrids of dwarf roses are known. Species suitable for growing indoors have a lush, compact bush shape from 15up to 50 cm in height. Plants are distinguished by their own roots, grown from cuttings, and grafted on a wild rose. The former are shorter and less demanding in care, while the latter grow taller and require much more attention and care. The flowers of a room rose are bright, exuding a delicate aroma, they are 2-5 cm in diameter, they can be located on a bush singly or be collected in racemose inflorescences, be single-row, double and semi-double, monophonic and variegated in color.
Types of indoor roses
Today, a wide variety of miniature rose varieties are available in flower shops in a large assortment. As a rule, they are all obtained by crossing an ordinary garden rose with a Chinese dwarf. Red, carmine, pink, cream, pale orange, white and milky, monophonic and combined - the number of colors of inflorescences presented just makes your eyes run wide.
Miniature roses
The miniature rose bush is very lush, with a lot of small leathery dark green leaves. The flowers are also small, terry, collected in inflorescences and do not lose their decorative properties throughout the entire flowering period from early spring to late summer.
Tea roses
