Private country houses can be heated using different types of boilers. Both electric and diesel and, of course, gas equipment are in demand. Most owners of country houses prefer to install the latest type of boilers. Of course, gasification of private houses must be carried out in compliance with certain rules and regulations.
Project types
Gas equipment, in comparison with alternative appliances, has a number of undeniable advantages. The main advantage of heating a house with its use is cheapness. Actually, the gas boiler itself is more expensive than electric and even diesel. However, since the price of "blue fuel" is quite low, in the future, the owners of the house can save quite a lot of money on heating.
Most often, gasification of private houses is carried out in those settlements where the main line is laid. In this case, the project includes a wayconnection to it, as well as calculations of the length of pipes required to bring gas to the building.
If there is no mains in the settlement, an autonomous gasification project is being developed. In this case, among other things, the location of the gas tank and the methods of connecting the boiler to it are determined.
What regulations must be met
Gasification of private houses is carried out in accordance with the norms fixed by law. A permit for tapping into a main or connecting to a gas tank can only be issued if:
- the land is owned;
- in the house itself there is a room suitable for installing a boiler according to the standards.
If both of these conditions are met, you can start assembling the documentation necessary for gasification and choosing the most suitable equipment.
Requirements for the premises
A gas boiler, according to regulations, can only be installed in the following rooms:
- Non-residential rooms. Usually boilers are placed in the kitchen or in a specially designated room. The boiler room can be located on any floor, including the basement.
- Having a volume of at least 15m3 (0.2m up or down is allowed) and a ceiling height of at least 2.5m.
-
Having a window with an opening window. The volume of the hood should be at least three times.
The above standardsdesigned for boilers up to 60 kW. Gas supply of a house outside the city most often involves the use of just this type of equipment. More powerful boilers are rarely installed by private owners.
What documents are required
In order to gasify a private house, you will need:
- Copy of the technical passport for the building itself. Get this document at the BTI.
- Documents for all purchased gas equipment.
Which places to visit
First of all, the owner of a country house will need to go to the local architectural and planning department. This organization is in charge of gasification of private houses. Here you will need to obtain permission in writing. Next, you should visit the fire department (or housing and communal services) and call an inspector to the house to inspect the chimney. If it is available and working, the owners of the house are given an appropriate act.
Then you will need to go to the local gas department or regional gas department and get the technical conditions for conducting gas to the house. Here you will need to write an application on the form provided by the employees. It should indicate the approximate demand for the volume of gas per hour. It will be considered within two weeks. Specifications will then be issued to the home owner.
Project development
This is done either by Gorgaz employees or engineers of some specialized company. When developing a project:
- piping scheme is being drawn uphome;
- determined where the highway enters the building.
The cost of the procedure will largely depend on the length of the pipes used to connect the house to the gas pipeline.
Autonomous gasification is carried out using a gas tank. When developing the project in this case, Gorgaz employees will have to determine the place of its installation. They choose a site for the installation of a gas tank, taking into account the fact that it should be located at least two meters from the fence of the site and at least 5 m from the house itself.
After the project is drawn up, an agreement is signed with the organization for connection work. Specialists will be able to start this procedure only after the project is agreed with the technical department of the company that supplies gas to a particular locality. After connecting the house to the highway, its owners will have, among other things, to conclude an agreement for the maintenance of equipment. This is usually done by the same company that did the tie-in.
Cost
Connecting a house to a centralized highway in our time is a pleasure, unfortunately, not too cheap. The total cost of gasification includes:
- Collection of documentation. You will have to pay various kinds of state duties.
- Drawing up a project. In this case, it all depends on the complexity of the work. The cost of project development can fluctuate within a fairly wide range - from 2 to 20 thousand rubles.
- The layout of the gas pipeline itself. The cost of work in most cases is about 1 thousand rubles per meter.
- Insert into the highway. For such work, you will have to pay about 10 thousand rubles.
And, of course, the cost of the boiler, pipes, radiators, etc. should be included in the estimate. Equipment of this type cannot be called cheap either. The cost of the boiler, for example, depending on the power, can be 17,000-40,000 rubles. Modern bimetallic radiators cost 3-7 thousand rubles. Autonomous gasification will cost, of course, even more expensive. The minimum cost of a gas tank is 60 thousand rubles.
Safety
After connecting the house to the highway, its owners, of course, will have to follow the rules for using gas equipment. The operation of the boiler can only be started under the supervision of specialists from the company with which the service contract was concluded. Also, all adult residents of the house will have to undergo an hour and a half safety briefing at the city gas station.
