First of all, the classics involve the use of natural wood or its skillful imitation in furniture facades. A clearly visible texture, matte warm tones, figuratively carved panels on the doors - all this is a tribute to the classical tradition. In addition to the usual very comfortable hangingcabinets and work surfaces, in this style they use all kinds of open or glazed showcases, slides for dishes, carved shelves and consoles, on which the hostess exposes various kitchen utensils, which decorate the interior very much, filling it with a special “homeliness”. The color of the furniture can be very diverse: from dark red-brown to creamy or pure white. Light kitchens in a classic style fill the room with additional light, create the right impression of the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen space. Not only carved massive wooden cabinets are a necessary attribute of the classics. Simple white furniture surfaces, even and smooth, complemented by other decorative elements, will also successfully create a classic-style kitchen interior.
The photo shows such an example, where the aesthetics of the style are framed with a large hood, symbolizing the hearth, and a large elegant chandelier with crystal pendants. A stove with a hood located above it in a classic interior is often stylized as a hearth or fireplace, building it into a niche, which is tiled with a bright tiled pattern. Such insulation of the slab will not only create an additional decorative effect, but will also save nearby cabinets and the desktop from soot and greasy deposits. The so-called “island” - an element in the center of the room, into which a stove is built in, a desktop with additional shelves and drawers, possibly a bar counter, etc.hooks on which copper or steel shiny frying pans and pots are hung, as well as baskets with flowers, vegetables and fruits, glasses in special holders.
The interior of the kitchen in a classic style is complemented by appropriate ceiling and wall lamps and textiles in the form of chair covers, an embroidered or lace tablecloth and light light curtains on the windows. Blinds, if necessary, must be supplemented with fabric curtains or lambrequins with a simple drapery.
The walls are decorated with traditional materials - they are pasted over with wallpaper or painted with matte paint. As additional decorative effects, wall tiles made of artificial stone or imitating brickwork, as well as a fresco, painting or photo wallpaper in a classic style, are used. Depending on the color of the furniture, the shade of the walls is also selected. Light pastel colors are suitable for dark furniture groups, and more saturated, bright colors for light or white ones.
Classic-style kitchens can now be found everywhere. They are still an indicator of we alth, solidity and respectability.
