Step 1. First, measure the width and height of the glass.
Step 2. Draw a rectangle on the wallpaper. Its width will be equal to the width of the glass, and its length will be ¼ more than the length of the glass.

Step number 4. With an awl we pierce holes throughout the middle of the paper web. Insert the cord. We straighten the canvas, fixing the garter with a knot at the top of the future curtain.

Making roller blinds with a rod
Now let's make a fabric curtain. Prepare the following tools:
- cut fabric;
- a couple of wooden bars;
- cord;
- five rings-screws;
- three screw hooks;
- scissors.
How to do?
First of all, cut and sew the fabric to make a bag. It will need to be turned out. Sew up the remaining edge and iron. For slats, it is necessary to form some pockets. Do it this way: fold the edges of the roller blind 3 cm on top and 1.5 cm on the bottom. Sew. Insert the straps into these pockets. Carefully screw in a pair of screw rings on top of the bar and from the inside. Do these manipulations in the upper bar. Step back from one ring on the front side 5 cm to the edge and screw in another ring.
Cut two cords. The length of one should be 3 times the length of the curtain, and the second should be ½ the length of the curtain longer than the first. Tie the cords around the rings. The one that is longer, attach to a separately screwed screw. Pull the cords along the wrong side, wind them over the front side and pass through the rings again. Then thread them through the common loop on the side and tie.
The original roller blind is ready, it only remains to be attached to the window. Screw 2 hook-screws into the frame so that they are opposite the upper rings. Hang the design. Screw the third hook into the side of the window frame. On it you will wind the cord, which will help to hold the roller blind firmly and securely.
Step-by-step production of curtains with a lower shaft
Step 1. Process the double-sided fabric by foldingedges.
Step 2. Form a pocket at the bottom. It will serve as a weight and shaft.
Stage number 3. Attach Velcro to the top bar with a stapler. Attach the second part of the roller blind at the top.
Stage number 4. Connect the canvas to the bar and wrap it.
Stage 5. Cut two cords. The length of each of them should be 2 curtain lengths and another 20 cm.
Step 6. Throw the ties over the bar at the top and attach to it with a stapler.

- medium weight fabric (cotton, twill or canvas);
- polyester thread;

How to care?

Typically, roller blinds are periodically vacuumed using a furniture nozzle. It is not necessary to remove the canvas from the window. It just needs to be closed and vacuumed. The same manipulations should be done from the wrong side. If you have plastic roller blinds installed, you can safely wash them with water and detergent. Perhaps it will be more effective to clean the roller blinds with a cloth dipped in alcohol. Just wrap it around a rubber spatula and start processing. When finished, treat dry fabric curtains with antistatic.
Don't wash paper curtains with water. Of course, it will be a shame for you to spoil the roller blinds, made with your own hands from wallpaper.
