Perform the work in the following order:
- Assemble the roll according to the instructions.
- Apply the structure to the attachment area and align with a level.
- Mark the drilling points with a pencil and remove the brackets from the shaft.
- Drill holes, insert dowel plugs and fasten the brackets.
- If the curtains are equipped with cable guides, push the edges of the cable into the holes of the brackets, tie and cut in the middle.
- Insert the roll and pull the ends of the cable into the loops on the canvas.
- We fasten the cable clamps at the bottom of the wall, thread the free ends into the holes and tighten.
- Insert the shaft retainers.
Installation in a window opening
When performing installation work, it is imperative to use the building level. Even seemingly perfect walls can turn out to be crooked, which will eventually affect the curtains.
We do the work as follows:
- We assemble the roll in the same way as in the previous version.
- Apply the structure to the installation site and align it.
- Through the holes in the brackets, we outline the drilling locations.
- Remove brackets and drill holes.
- We fasten the brackets.
- If the design is equipped with a fishing line, then insert its ends into the brackets, tie and cut in the middle.
- Insert the roll into the product.
- We stretch the line through the loops on the canvas.
- We attach fasteners on the sides of the opening that will hold the guides.
- Insert the ends of the fishing line into special holes and pull them.
- Insert the shaft clamps and attach the stops.
Installation on the frame
It is also possible to install products directly on plastic windows. Roller blind dimensionsare calculated as follows: the width of the glass is measured, to which another 30 mm must be added (if necessary, it can be increased to 40 mm). Please note that the design should hang freely.
Installation works are performed in the following order:
- We assemble the roll, attach the product to the frame and make notes with a pencil.
- Remove the brackets and degrease the attachment points.
- Attach double-sided adhesive tape to the profile.
- Connect the brackets to the clip and glue them to the tape.
- Insert the roll into the brackets.
- If the product is equipped with a fishing line, then we prepare it, as in the previous version.
- When the product is attached, stretch the canvas down and glue fasteners for the guides to the bottom profile (double-sided tape will help).
- Insert the edges of the fishing line and pull them.
- We attach the limiters to the chain and glue the retainer to the profile so that the structure does not reach the window sill by 100 mm.
Tips for choosing for different rooms
The choice of roller blinds depends on the type of room in which they will be installed. For example, it is customary to relax in the bedroom, so it is important to create a feeling of peace and tranquility there. You should not choose absolutely opaque products - even transparent structures will be appropriate here (dense curtains will help to darken the room). You can also choose curtains "day-night", which will allow you to control the light flux in the room.
Roller curtains for nurseryrooms should not only protect from the sun, but also not affect the he alth of the baby. Products of any type are suitable for the room (for the entire opening or only for the sashes). You can use curtains "blackout" (complete blackout) or "day-night" (allow you to control the light flux).
