For many people, summer cottages and suburban areas have ceased to be a place for planting and harvesting. Today it is a place for recreation, which should be divided into various functional areas and equipped with the necessary communications. And one of the essential components for a good rest outside the city is a barbecue area. It is not difficult to equip it with your own hands, and in some cases this site can even be an indicator of the status of the owner of the cottage.
This area should be planned in advance, before the start of landscaping. At the same time, it is very important to consider its location. The mangal zone, made with your own hands, should not be adjacent close to the house or outbuildings - this is explained by fire safety rules. It should also be separated from other areas, in particular, from playgrounds.

In order for the brazier to serve you for a long time and not lose its original appearance, it is better to prepare a concrete foundation for it in advance.
If you are interested in a covered barbecue area, you need to arrange an exhaust pipe in it with your own hands. In this case, even if you use ordinary firewood for ignition, all the smoke will be removed to the street. Instead of a full roof, you can use temporary awnings or sunshades. It is also worth considering their location in advance in order to install special fasteners in the right places.
The size of the barbecue area depends entirely on the capabilities of your site. If the territory has modestsizes, you can arrange a place for barbecue. If you have a vast area, the zone becomes a full-fledged corner for a pleasant stay with a lot of seats, furniture and other useful devices. To enhance the zoning effect, designers advise using any one material for arranging this territory: paving slabs of the same color, artificial stone, etc. But at the same time, do not forget that the barbecue area is part of the overall design of the site, and therefore should be harmonious fit into the overall landscape design.
