A few words about porcelain stoneware

These relatively inexpensive high-tech materials for home facade decoration have all the advantages inherent in natural stone. They are produced by pressing clay and marble chips. The plates obtained in this way are fired in special furnaces, the temperature in which reaches about 1200-1400 degrees. It is thanks to this processing that porcelain stoneware has high strength. It is almost impossible to split it. Plates mounted on the wall reliably protect it from mechanical damage. The only significant drawback of this material can be considered not very aesthetic appearance.

Most often it is used to decorate corporate, office, utility and administrative buildings. In private construction, it is practically not used. Despite all of the above, such facade materials are suitable for finishing buildings located in areas with a continental climate.

Decorative plaster

This is one of the most common ways to decorate the outside of a building. Such facade materials allow you to create a variety of textured surfaces, which can later be painted. The main function of plaster is to level the surface of the walls. At the same time, this coating is a heater and reliable protection against adversethe impact of external factors. The only significant disadvantage of decorative plaster can be considered the complexity of its application. This process is quite time consuming and requires certain skills.

Facing brick

Despite the external differences from the building analogue, such facade materials do not burn and perfectly retain heat. They give the house a complete look, making it look like a mansion of aristocratic nobility. To prevent the facing brick from absorbing excess moisture, it is necessary to ensure the presence of horizontal waterproofing of the foundation. The building, the facade of which is decorated with such material, will be not only presentable in appearance, but also warm inside.

Facing brick is produced by heat treatment of clay in special furnaces. This is a fairly durable material with an unlimited service life. For its laying, ordinary cement mortar is used.

Clinker thermal panels

These are relatively new facade finishing materials. However, they have already gained some popularity among domestic consumers. Such products are a complex system consisting of a clinker base, plastic and foam.

Relatively inexpensive clinker panels have a number of significant drawbacks. Therefore, they are most often used to decorate the facades of country houses. Among the main disadvantages of this material is the fact that over time under itcondensation forms, which penetrates the wall of the building and contributes to the growth of mold and fungus.

Natural stone

This group includes quite expensive facade materials, including quartzite, sandstone, tuff, granite, slate and marble. All of them do not require complex maintenance and have an unlimited service life. So, some varieties of limestone are used for the construction of load-bearing walls, others - for their cladding. The only thing they differ from each other is the appearance. Natural stone is considered to be one of those few materials that has no flaws.

Finishing the facade with granite or marble is a rather laborious and very expensive process. The aesthetics and durability of the coating largely depends on how well the facing work was carried out. Finishing, made in violation of the technological process, begins to flake off over time, provoking partial destruction of the structure, and sometimes rotting of the walls. Those who live in areas with a humid climate should be aware that moss may appear on some varieties of stone. However, this does not affect the structure of the material in any way.

Siding

This is one of the easiest and most affordable ways to decorate facades. Due to the variety of shades and textures of siding, it can be used to realize any, even the most daring design ideas. It will not only embellish your home, but also reliably protect it from rain and wind.

Vinyl siding is considered the most demanded today. Despite the fact thatvisually, this material resembles boards for facade cladding, it is more durable and wear-resistant. The siding is easy to clean, does not fade, does not rot or collapse under the influence of corrosion. Plus, dirt doesn't stick to it.

To decorate the facade with this material, it is not at all necessary to contact specialists. This can be done by hand. A wooden crate is preliminarily constructed on the walls of the building, to which siding panels are subsequently attached.
