DIY speaker: the first way
Before you make speakers with your own hands, prepare the necessary materials:
- paper;
- permanent magnet;
- aluminum tape or wire;
- stapler;
- scissors.
Making such a simple speaker is very easy:
- Cut thin strips of aluminum tape.
- On a square sheet of paper, glue these pieces with a "snake" without touching or crossing them anywhere. In the same way, you can glue the wire with a spiral. You can attach it with pieces of ordinary tape.
- Stap the sound device with aluminum strips or wires with a stapler. It's good if the wires are bare.
- Put a permanent magnet near the paper and turn on the sound on the device. Done!
Homemade speaker: method two
How to make a speaker in this case?Prepare:
- paper;
- copper wire;
- paraffin or rosin;
- cylindrical magnet.
Instructions on how to make a speaker:
- Glue paper into a low cone.
- Make a paper tube - it should be slightly lower and wider than the cylinder magnet. Glue this piece to the base of the cone.
- Insert a magnet into the tube.
- Wrap a tube with a magnet with a thin wire - the more turns there are, the better the sound will be.
- Pour paraffin or rosin over the wire so that it adheres to the paper with the magnet.
- Fix the position of the cone relative to the surface by gluing it to it with accordion-folded strips of paper.
- At this stage, fasten the ends of the wire to the sound amplifier and enjoy the music.
How to make a speaker out of a speaker?
If you want to end up with a high quality speaker, you will need three speakers: tweeter, midrange and woofer. The body for it must be made strictly rectangular. Let's consider its manufacture step by step:
- First of all, prepare the case - its basis can be chipboard, plywood, board 10-12 mm thick.
- Cut out the front, back and side walls with a carpentry tool / saw / jigsaw. Do not forget to make three holes in the front corresponding to the speakers - at the top there will be a high frequency, in the middle - a midrange, at the bottom - a low frequency.
- For best sound, set betweenwall and speakers with a rubber tab, and paste the body inside with felt.
- Secure the assembled case with superglue and self-tapping screws, leaving the back part loose.
- At this stage, run the wires to all three speakers and bring the terminals to the outside of the rear wall. Connect the speakers together in parallel.
- After you figured out the wiring, close the case with the back wall and fix it with the same screws and glue.
- If your speaker turned out to be oversized, then you need to take care of inserting stiffeners - they will help to avoid unpleasant rattling of sounds. Additionally, you can attach rubber feet to the body.
How to make speaker stands?
In the instructions we will look at how to make a podium for absolutely any speaker and car with our own hands:
- Decide on the shape of the future podium - the design should not interfere with the window handle and the car closing the door. Draw the project on cardboard and cut out the template along its outline.
- Now you need plywood 6-8 mm thick. Cut out two parts according to the template.
- At this stage, you need to deal with the platform for the speaker - the base in the form of a ring. The diameter of the inner circumference of the platform must match the inner diameter of the seat, and the diameter of its outer circumference - with the diameter of the protective grid of the speaker. To get an aesthetic appearance of the future podium, add 5-7 mm to the outer ring - this is necessary to install the decorative ring.
- Draw also on the cardboard a template for the base and decor ring. Transfer the outlines to the plywood and cut out these details.
- Spread the decorative ring with glue and fix it on the base ring.
- At this stage, attach the ring to the main part. The easiest way to do this is with spacers that provide rigidity, because the speaker will be tilted and will protrude forward. Spacers are made from regular rails.
- Now you need to set the shape for the podium - mounting foam will be the best assistant here, because with this material you can give your structure any shape you like. In order not to waste foam on the hole of the ring (from where it will still have to be cut), put a suitable bottle, pipe, etc. there. Be careful - the level of dried foam should not be lower than the level of the ring.
- Using a sharp clerical knife, give the dried foam surface the desired shape. After that, sand it properly with a large "skin".
- To make the surface perfectly smooth, prepare a mixture of PVA glue and putty, apply it in thin layers and leave to dry. Then sand the product.
- At this stage, impregnate the product with a protective layer of epoxy. Next - a layer of fiberglass, and then - all the same resin. Excess pieces after drying are also removed with sandpaper.
- The last step is to cover the podium with artificial leather. Stretch the material from the ring to the edges, cutting off the excess along the way and securing the skin with a stapler.
Increase the volume of the speakers on the computer
So, how to make the speaker louder on Windows:
- Right click on the volume tray icon.
- In the window that appears, select "Playback devices".
- Next, select the desired speakers, right-click on them again, click on "Properties".
- In the menu that appears, you will need the "Improvements" tab.
- Check the "Equalizer" box.
- Next, find the "Sound Effect Properties" section. Opposite the line "Settings" click on the button with three dots "…"
- In the drop-down menu, raise all the sliders up, save the result.
If, as a result of this operation, the speakers began to "whine", then return to the sliders again and lower the first 2-3 to the previous level.
Increase the speaker volume on your smartphone

- Call the engineering menu of your smart. How to do this, in most cases, tells the full instructions on the official website of the device manufacturer. Most common command: 9646633.
- Next you need to stop at the item "Audio" - select the kind of sound that you do not like - "Loudspeaker", "Speaker for talking", "Headphones".
- Choosing any of the above three items,you will see the following positions: "sound", "melody", "speech", "microphone", "keyboard tone".
- Clicking on any of the items, you will notice seven volume levels - from 0 to 6. To make your speaker louder, you need to select item "6".
- The maximum value is 255. However, be careful if you select a number over 236, as this may cause the speaker to break soon.
- Agree with the changes, return to the menu and click on "Update".
- Reboot your device - after this change should take effect.
